How Halliday Simplified Account Balance Routing for Kairos’s International Trading Platform

Prediction market traders are looking for an edge in any market on any platform at a moment’s notice. When the Kairos team needed to make a single abstracted balance for users to trade in multiple venues, Halliday brought the infrastructure to make it a reality.

“Moving liquidity between prediction market platforms has to be instant and cheap, or the trade opportunity is gone. Halliday finds the fastest, lowest-cost route every time, and it just works.”

What is Kairos?

Kairos is a trading terminal that supports the largest prediction market platforms, including Kalshi, Polymarket, Hyperliquid, and Predict.fun. Each of those venues runs its own separate order book, so traditionally traders have had to move between multiple websites to participate broadly. Kairos consolidates those venues into a single screen, letting a trader view prices, place orders, and track positions with ease.

The product is made for traders who want prediction market tools comparable to those found on a Wall Street trading desk. It streams live price data with sub-second delays, routes orders to whichever venue offers the best price, and provides a programming interface for firms building their own automated strategies. Kairos was founded by engineers from high-frequency trading firms and exchanges, and in early 2026 announced a funding round led by Andreessen Horowitz.

The Problem: Each Prediction Market Silos User Liquidity

Behind the scenes, each prediction market platform gives every user a separate account held at its own smart contract address. Each platform runs on a different blockchain with a different stablecoin. A trader holding funds on Kalshi cannot simply use them on Polymarket; the funds need to be moved across networks and converted along the way. Traders think in dollars and markets, not in chains and tokens. Every minute spent transferring funds is a minute in which prices move and opportunities close.

Kairos’s international trading platform solves this on the surface by presenting a single dashboard with one dollar balance that can be deployed to any supported market. To make that balance real, Kairos needs onchain infrastructure that can bridge, swap, and deliver the right token to the right account the instant a user wants to move liquidity from one venue to another, and do so as cheaply as possible. That is a complex infrastructure problem, and building it in-house would distract the Kairos team from building the best trading dashboard available.

The Solution: Halliday

Halliday’s onchain infrastructure maps multiple routes from a token on one chain to a different token on another. When a Kairos international trading platform user initiates a transfer, Halliday generates quotes across those routes in real time, each accounting for gas, bridge fees, and the price slippage from swapping on decentralized exchanges. The cheapest and lowest latency route is returned to the user and executed from their own non-custodial wallet, so Kairos never takes custody of the funds.

Halliday’s token routing on Layer 2 networks and Solana is built for low fees and near-instant delivery. For Kairos, specific routes were further tuned to the chains and stablecoins used by each supported prediction market, so moving liquidity between Kalshi, Polymarket, Hyperliquid, and Predict.fun is as direct as the underlying networks allow. The result is that a Kairos trader sees a dollar balance and an action, while the bridging and swapping happen underneath.

Beyond cross-venue transfers, Kairos’s international trading platform utilizes Halliday for the full flow of money into and out of the platform: fiat onramps for funding with a bank account or card, deposits from external wallets and centralized exchanges, withdrawals back to those destinations, and fiat offramps when a trader is ready to cash out.

Halliday’s Plug and Play Infrastructure for Prediction Market Builders

Halliday automates bridging and routing regardless of which venue a Kairos user is moving funds between or which chain and stablecoin that venue uses. Halliday quotes available routes, using a myriad of bridges and DEXs, and selects the option with the lowest cost and latency at the time of transfer. The user confirms once, and Halliday enables delivery of the correct token to the correct account and chain without manual bridging or route selection.

For the Kairos team, this removes a significant engineering burden. Building and maintaining cross-chain routing in-house would mean integrating multiple bridges, monitoring their fees and settlement times, handling failures, and updating the system as new routes emerge. By integrating Halliday, Kairos avoids that ongoing work entirely and can direct its time and resources toward the trading terminal UX, while still giving users a unified dollar balance that works across every supported venue.

Halliday scales with the ecosystem. When Kairos needed routes tuned to the specific chains and tokens behind Kalshi, Polymarket, Hyperliquid, and Predict.fun, Halliday’s engineers configured and optimized them within days. Most EVM and SVM tokens can be added quickly. That same turnaround applies as Kairos adds new prediction markets, so its liquidity layer grows without additional work on the Kairos side. For developers, integrating Halliday takes just a few lines of code, turning a major infrastructure project into a feature that ships in days, not months.
